And my all time favourite

Chupke Chupke:

Hum Kissi Se Kam Nahin

Yet another classic Nasir Hussain production. Made in 1977 the movie stars Rishi Kapoor, Kaajal Kiran, Tariq and Zeenat Aman (in a short role). The songs are absolutely splendid. There is romance, action and suspense. The three key ingredients that make a masala hindi movie. The movie is a great watch but a little away from the earthiness we so lack in our movies. It comes off as a musical, maybe that is what Nasir Hussain wanted it to be.

To Catch a Thief

I recently saw to catch a thief with Cary Grant and Grace Kelly. It is a wonderful movie set in the french reviera. A jewel thief who is blamed for the thefts he has not commited. The retired jewel thief takes it on himself to catch the copy cat. I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants something to do on a lazy afternoon.

Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi

I can promise you now that my review of the movie will not be as detailed as Sibin's or Sarat's. It is one of the rare movies that leaves you in disbelief and the inablility to analyze it for some time. It shocks the mind with its brutal reality. I invariably run away from movies like this, just because I find it difficult to handle sadness and trials. A great watch.

Ice Candy Man

I started Ice Candy Man a few days back. Deepa Mehta's movie 1947 Earth is based on this book. It is interesting to see things from the perspective of a five year old girl.

March of the Penguins

Great movie. I had no idea that they did the underwater shots by tying a camera to a penguin.
